CSR and sustainability at Relokator AS
ReloGreen is Relokator’s input team for CSR and sustainability. The project group is responsible for deploying the objectives among the management, implementing the measures in Relokator’s operations, and ensuring that the goals are achieved in the most appropriate way possible. ReloGreen consists of a group of dedicated members who work actively to reduce both our own and our customers’ environmental footprint. ReloGreen is headed up by Mari Kulseth Røttervold. Mari holds the position of consultant at Relokator, working with companies looking to relocate to new premises. Her assignments include project management, following up on construction projects, checking the design of the premises and handling the necessary procurements.
Strategy and approach
Sustainable development is development that satisfies current needs without negatively affecting the opportunities for future generations to cover their needs. Tough climate demands are applied at both national and international level to combat the ever-increasing climate crisis; in view of this, the Group is obliged to set itself ambitious goals.
CSR and sustainability are at the heart of Relokator’s business. Relokator works continuously to implement considerations of sustainability and CSR in its activities, both internally and externally.
Relokator is committed to reducing its own environmental footprint, and engaging its business in order to influence and help customers and partners to become more aware of sustainability issues and CSR.
Relokator moves 40,000 workplaces every year. This puts us in a unique position in the Nordic region to encourage enterprises undergoing a relocation process to donate, sell and reuse office furniture.
Relokator is Eco-Lighthouse and Grønt Punkt (Green Dot) certified.
Relokator is committed to being a future-oriented enterprise. We therefore work continuously to shoulder our environmental and social responsibility by striving to remain Eco-Lighthouse certified. Membership of the Eco-Lighthouse scheme puts Relokator in a strong position to help achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Grønt Punkt Norge:
Relokator is “Grønt Punkt” certified. “Grønt Punkt” (Green Dot) is a non-profit organisation that arranges financing for return schemes for the following types of packaging: glass, plastic, metal, cardboard, liquid packaging board and corrugated card. Membership of Grønt Punkt Norge ensures that the packaging Relokator uses is collected and recycled.
The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals:
The UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) constitute a shared global action plan with the objectives of eliminating poverty, combating inequalities and halting climate change before 2030.
Relokator is proud to participate in this work and to be part of a global organisation that turns the spotlight on CSR and sustainability. We at Relokator have set ourselves ambitious targets in our work to contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals via ReloGreen.
Relokator has chosen to focus on three of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere. Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns, and Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
