The premises on Tøyen in Oslo that currently house the Munch Museum are to be vacated and prepared for new tenants before 1 October 2020. In partnership with DHL Fine Art, Relokator has been commissioned to handle the relocation This is a unique and exciting assignment that we are looking forward to carrying out.

The new Munch Museum in Bjørvika will be opening the doors to its 26,000 sqm, 13-storey building in June 2020. Fully 4,500 sqm are dedicated to exhibitions and the building will also feature a children’s studio, a centre for Munch studies, a concert hall/theatre and a cinema/conference hall.

The new Munch Museum will house the amazing Munch collection that comprises almost 28,000 works of art. The relocation thus entails moving a huge number of items including 1,150 paintings, 766 drawings, 14 sculptures and 3,400 books from the Munch book collection.
